All chanters pictured above are in Concert D, each different type of timber creates a slightly different

quality of sound, IE, the sharpest tone is produced by African Blackwood and Lignum Vitae, through to

Ebony and Pink Ivory, to the warmest tone with English Holly and many of our native fruitwoods

species such as, Apple, Plumb, Pear and Laburnum.

We can make chanters in any timber the customer prefers providing it is available to us.
