Chanters and other sets for hire |

|
Rules and regulation for hire go as follows, please read very carefully: |

|
For a number of years now we have had a few chanters and practice sets available for hire, if anyone is interested in starting out in the Uilleann piping world, then we could help you, we hire out chanters or practice sets on a yearly basis. All we require are your details and the deposit from you, which is the full price of the said instrument to be hired, which can be any set/s your desire all prices can be found in our current price list, this deposit will be refundable after a one year period and must be signed and agreed to by both parties before collection can take place, why a year you might ask, we feel that it would take at least that amount of time to become proficient at playing one of these instrument, some may pick things up more quickly than others, however, if you decide that this instrument is not for you, we would refund your deposit providing that the instrument/set was returned to us in the same unaltered condition you received it in. If there is any minor damage/s to the said item/s that can be repaired easily then we would deduct that cost from the refund total, we do supply a caring for your bagpipes instruction booklet of how to store and look after your set. If you decided that you are liking what you hear, then you can keep the instrument and upgrade from there onwards towards a half or full set of bagpipes, please note: that all or any reeds supplied are not covered by this agreement and on return must be deducted from the deposit, we have had to do this because we have had many reeds ruined by busy fingers.
For overseas customers we have a list of recommended reed makers on the forum, who we recommend and allow them to reed one of our instrument so you can continue playing if you accidentally damaged your reed, if you sent your instrument to any of these and it was lost or stolen in transit, then you must insure it against this eventuality, the same rule applies for returning the instrument to us.
We have also been asked if the original vendor could pass on the item to a friend or Family member etc and get their deposit back that way instead of sending the item back to us, in order of saving on shipping costs, this is absolutely not allowed, all items must be returned to us and inspected before the refund will be given, also all returned items must be fully insured before shipping out. |
