We are pleased to announce our all new student or beginners range, a gateway for those on a budget a competitively priced all wooden chanter, made from highest quality timbers, made to the same tuning specs and standards as all our other hand made instruments, these are proving very popular with today's new starters or beginners, which we also hire out, (For hire sets click here).

Each chanter comes with one reed, there are no key bosses fitted, they have plain integral self coloured mounts on both ends of the instrument bottom ferrule and chanter cap are made from brass only, as pictured below.

The chanter cap is made from brass with our standard 3/8" angled outlet tube and matching wooden top cap.

We are now recommending a range of native fruit woods like Holly, Hornbeam, Apple, plumb etc

which give a nice warm tone, especially for any flat pitched instruments,

You can at extra cost have a matching wooden chanter or Nickel chanter cap fitted, please ask before ordering
